Cyclethon began as a way for Connor to do something Ironmouse couldn’t: getting out and cycling across Japan. What started small quickly grew into something much bigger.

Cyclethon is an annual charity livestream event created by CDawgVA, where he cycles long distances across Japan while streaming the journey live on Twitch.

The project began in 2022 to support his friend, VTuber Ironmouse, who lives with Common Variable Immune Deficiency (CVID). Inspired by her experience, all funds raised during Cyclethon are donated to the Immune Deficiency Foundation, supporting people living with primary immunodeficiency diseases.

Since its launch, Cyclethon has grown into one of the most recognised charity streaming events, winning “Best Philanthropic Stream Event” at The Streamer Awards.

Immune Deficiency Foundation

primaryimmune.org

The Immune Deficiency Foundation is a national non-profit for people living with primary immunodeficiencies, genetic conditions that leave the immune system unable to fight infection on its own. Over 250 known conditions exist.

Funds raised go to patient advocacy, diagnostic support, and access-to-treatment programmes, plus research into treatments like SCIG, IVIG, and gene therapy.
